Your cameras, watched on your machine: RTSP, ONVIF, and USB cameras; motion events with a still attached; a silence heartbeat — a camera that stops answering is itself reported. No facial recognition, ever: it reports that something moved, never who. Cloud-locked cameras (Ring/Nest class) cannot join — the setup wizard says so plainly instead of pretending.

• ARCHANGEL watches and reports. It is not an alarm company — no monitoring center, no human on duty, nobody dispatched.
• It is not life-safety equipment. Never rely on it for fire, medical, or intrusion response. Emergencies need real services.
• If the computer is off, asleep, or broken, the watch is off. A personal computer is not an alarm panel, and the agent says so itself.
• No system is unhackable — including this one. The watches raise your chance of noticing. They promise nothing more.
