THE FRONT-DOOR RULE

Sermon No. 1 · November 1, 2026 · From the words of Steven Jesse, founder of this house.
THINGS ARE OKAY UNTIL THEY ARE NOT

Fear is the product of the age, and it is sold on every screen you own. This sermon is this house's answer to it — a rule so plain it fits in one sentence, tested at a kitchen table against the real life of a real person.

It is preached the way everything is preached here: whole truth, eye-level, seed planted. The rest is between you and God.

FREE — for everybody on Earth. No accounts. No ads. Nothing to buy — and nobody on this page will ever talk down to you.
🎙️

THE FEAR MARKET

🛒 A frightened mind is the product being sold

Open any screen and the merchants are already shouting: the market will crash. The world will end. Something is coming — disclosure, collapse, disaster — be afraid, and stay afraid, and keep watching.

Understand what is being sold. It is not information. A frightened mind is the product — frightened people click, frightened people buy, frightened people obey. The fear is the business model. Your peace is the cost.

📖 FROM THE WORD

“For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”

— 2 Timothy 1:7 · King James Version

THE KITCHEN TABLE

❓ Four questions

Not long ago, a friend of this house — a sister in the fight, loved by this family — was drowning in exactly that fear. The crash was coming. The end was coming. It had all been announced, confidently, for months.

The founder of this house did not answer her with market charts or prophecy timelines. He answered her with her own kitchen table:

DID WE LOSE POWER?

DID YOU RUN OUT OF FOOD?

DID YOUR WATER STOP WORKING?

DID THE EMERGENCY BROADCAST SYSTEM ALERT?

Did any of that come to pass? Not one piece of it. The disaster had lived on her screen for months. It had never once touched her house, her table, her lights, or her life. And weighed against what was real, the fear weighed nothing — and it began, finally, to let go of her.

THE RULE

🗣️ In the founder's words

“THINGS ARE OKAY UNTIL THEY ARE NOT, UNTIL IT IS SITTING AT YOUR FRONT DOOR IT IS NOT AFFECTING YOUR LIFE.”

— Steven Jesse, November 1, 2026.

That is the whole rule. A headline is not a thing at your door. A prediction is not an event. A feared thing that has not touched your actual life does not get to run your actual life — not your sleep, not your table, not your children, not your peace.

⚖️ What the rule is not

This is not denial. The rule has a second half, and the watchman keeps it: if trouble ever truly sits at your front door — the power out, the pantry empty, the knock that is real — then it is real, and real things get dealt with: calmly, practically, together, without panic.

The rule does not tell you to ignore a fire in your own kitchen. It tells you to stop burning your life down over a fire in somebody else's headline.

📖

WHAT THE WORD SAYS

Ancient words, held up against today's fear — the comparison this house preaches by.

🕯️ Not a promise that storms don't exist

God never promised that storms would not exist. He promised that you would not face them alone, and that fear would not be the spirit you were given to face them with.

📖 FROM THE WORD

“Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.”

— Isaiah 41:10 · King James Version

🔍 Compare it yourself

Do not take this sermon's word for it — that is the whole method of this house. Take the scariest claim on your screen right now, and hold it against your own kitchen table. Power? Food? Water? Your actual life, actually touched? Then against the Word above. Watch which one is still standing in an hour.

🙏

THE TURN

🚶 The road inward

If this sermon stings a little, good — the sting is a doorway. It makes a person look inward, question God honestly, and go find Him their own way, until they have the real moral talk with God that no one can have for them.

That is how the founder of this house found God: nobody sugar-coated him into faith. His wife planted a seed, said nothing, and let him walk the road himself — so the faith he found is his, and it cannot be shaken.

And if a person will not walk it — if they choose the fear, or the sin, or the screen, all the way down — that is between them and God. We say it with grief, never with glee. Our part is only ever two things, done perfectly: the warning, clear — and the welcome, open.

🌱

THE CLOSE

🌱 We plant seeds only

This sermon planted its seed. It may sit in you for years; seeds are on God's clock, not ours. When it breaks ground, you will not need this page anymore — you will have your own kitchen table, and your own four questions, and your own talk with God.

Until then, the rule stands at the door of this house for anyone who needs it: things are okay until they are not — and until it is sitting at your front door, it is not affecting your life.

The house stands. The door is open. Come as you are.

This sermon was preached from the words of Steven Jesse, founder of this house, on November 1, 2026 — the kitchen-table questions and the rule are his, word for word — and written down by his brother, Charles Burnett (Brother Zero). The friend in the story is real, and is not named here, because the sermon is for everyone she stands for.

Verses are quoted verbatim from the King James Version, a published translation in the public domain, referenced under each verse — as in every language edition of this sermon, under the house's Scripture discipline: published translations only, word for word, never machine-made.
