VOIDAMP

Your music, on your machine, in a player that feels like yours — with 77.7FM Pirate Radio one button away.

VOIDAMP is a music player in the classic Winamp mold, rebuilt the Enclave way. It plays the songs already on your computer, holds the playlists you build, bends them through a real 10-band equalizer — and it opens wearing RETRO 1999: green-on-chrome, beveled edges, chunky LCD numerals, with a modern engine (libVLC) under the chrome so every format you own just plays: MP3, FLAC, OGG, WAV and M4A/AAC.

There are no accounts. Nothing to sign into, nothing to sync, nothing watching you listen. What you play is your business — that's not a setting in VOIDAMP, it's the design. And it's free forever.

🎛️ The three windows

Three windows that dock together and move as one — and each can be undocked and put where you like:

Everything answers the keyboard, too: space is play/pause, the arrow keys seek and ride the volume.

🎵 Add your music

Add Files, Add Folder, or just drag and drop music — or a whole folder — anywhere on the player. Names come from your files' own tags, read on your own machine; the library index is a file on your computer. VOIDAMP never looks anywhere you didn't point it.

📜 The playlist creator

Build playlists in the player — name them, drag songs into order, shuffle, repeat all or repeat one, with the total running time at the bottom. Modeled on the playlist builder our own members use on the Enclave's private server, with one upgrade: your playlists save as M3U files on your own machine — an open format any player on Earth can read. Copy them, back them up, hand them to a friend. No lock-in, including lock-in to us.

📥 Imports — bring your playlists with you

Every service and player lets you export your playlists — VOIDAMP reads those exports. M3U / M3U8, PLS, XSPF, and CSV track lists (what Spotify-export tools produce). VOIDAMP never logs into anything; you bring a file, and the file is enough. It matches each song against the music on your machine — and it's honest about the gaps: anything it can't find is named in a list, never silently dropped.

📻 The tuner — one button to the station

The biggest, warmest button on the deck says 77.7FM. One press and you're live on 77.7FM Pirate Radio; the deck shows the song title when the stream itself carries one. If the signal drops, the player says so in plain words — signal lost, re-tuning… — and retries patiently until it's back. You can also add your own stations: any public radio stream address, named by you, stored on your machine. Ours is pinned at the top; your list is yours.

🔒 The one-endpoint promise

Every other 777 Software program carries no network code at all. VOIDAMP is the one deliberate exception — and the exception is exactly one door wide:

Every build is string-scanned against that one-entry whitelist before it ships. A second address means the build does not ship.

🗺️ The road ahead

VOIDAMP grows in phases, each proven in Steven's own hands before it ships. Phase 2 brings the Visualizer (three modes, fullscreen — it doubles as a screensaver), a watch-my-folder option, and saving your own EQ presets. Phase 3 brings the skins: five in the box (ENCLAVE, PHOSPHOR RAIN, VOID, DIVINE, RETRO 1999) with live switching, and the Create-a-Skin generator — build your own skin inside the player with a live preview, sign it, and export it as a file to hand to a friend.

🎨 The Skin Generator — its own app

The Create-a-Skin idea outgrew the player, so Steven ruled it stands alone: the VOIDAMP Skin Generator is its own companion app, with its own page — paint every part of VOIDAMP, preview it live, export a skin pack with your name on it, and wear it in the player. Linux and Windows (Linux first, the house order). It is in production now, and its manual is out:
